Understanding the back tuck. To gain full awareness of your back tuck takes a tremendous amount of body awareness. For a lot of athletes this can be extremely difficult. It’s not that they aren’t talented, strong, or not trying. It’s that they cannot feel where the problem lies. Some of these movements in gymnastics happen so fast that the brain cannot process it.

The good news is with a tremendous amount of effort, dedication, and time spent practicing, this body awareness can be achieved .

if you’re having problems with your back tuck, videotape yourself and find out where the issue is that’s preventing you from progressing.

Drill it out and then continue to videotape.

The hardest part about doing these helicopter cart

The hardest part about doing these helicopter cartwheels is getting the client to understand the swoop of that leg. It looks best when it swoops close to the ground not overhead. How you exit is personal choice. In this example @sorielledance exits as a front walkover. Beautiful move.
